Russian Vodka and Vanilla Ice -Cream
Just got this racoon headband... which to say.. I only realized its actual purpose.. after I had purchased the little thing. Happy as a bean driving home with it wrapped around my neck... which I believed was to be its duty from now on.. and then bam. The happy surprise.. it has 2 jobs!!! Ears and neck.. wonderful ! So that made the purchase an even greater one..Whoop whoop... Strep throat and cold ears can you say buuhh byye?!
Btw. where did the blue sky and sunshine go??

It's hard to let go. But thats life, what can I tell you?
Just watched Meet Joe Black for the x time.. That movie just seems to come on at the most random times and even though I've seen it oh so many times.. I get hooked every single time. The story itself isnt that 'oooing' but yet it is.. If that makes any sense? It's so simple but the dialogue is so striking.. and the emotion is depicted so well and a bit overwhelming. (I've definatly cried a few times watching it) And of course Anthony Hopkins is just such a cool 'I don't give a fuck' man in the movie.
This explanation that he gives to his daughter about love stuck with me as it was so genuine and I feel no one should ever forget it!
" I want you to get swept away out there. I want you to levitate. I want you to sing with rapture and dance like a dervish...Yeah be deliriously happy or at least leave yourself open to be. I know it's a cornball thing, but love is passion, obsession, someone you can't live without. If you don't start with that, what are you going to end up with? Fall head over heels. I say find someone you can love like crazy and who'll love you the same way back. And how do you find him? Forget your head and listen to your heart. I'm not hearing any heart. Run the risk, if you get hurt, you'll come back. Because, the truth is there is no sense living your life without this. To make the journey and not fall deeply in love - well, you haven't lived a life at all. You have to try. Because if you haven't tried, you haven't lived.Stay open. Who knows, lightening could strike!"

Consumption overload
Midterms this week is all I can say! My birthday was last week so that was nice - went a bit overboard with carrot cake and online shopping... UPS man must truly be thinking 'wtf'... who is this person.. everyday a new package!! Beautiful..! But now is back to being modest about my buys... ahhaa... I'll believe it myself when it happens.. and I'll be sure to let you know... --> Never! When I lay eyes on that special piece.. it has to be mine.. Especially if it's vintage that you know you're never going to find again..& if for whatever pricey reason I cannot have it... it usually haunts me for quite a while.. It's like this curse because when the sightings occured..Mind outfits start popping up in my head that just bring the utter most visual- waiting -to -happen orgasm! (Yikes)That can only be treated with one thing.. consumption.......or there is of course the option of the temporary pain relief..(i still like number 1 more) find something else.. but unfortunately that usually just helps for a tiny bit.. Pity..

Time for some la musica
So I think it's time for me to share with you... some of my favorite songs at the moment and in general..
As you should all I know.. I LOVE music. Couldn't live with out it hence to say my Ipod.. I get most of my music from a ton of research.. Not a big fan of the mainstream radio stuff.. Especially there is nothing more annoying then a radio station repeating the songs they play.. Like seriously? There are SOO many songs.. why play the same song over and over again.. and thereby totally kill it?!?! Just something that escapes my understanding every single time it happens.. Anywho.. so overall I'm a music junkie.. I hear a song I like and i'll write down any information that could help me find out the title and artist so I can add it to my itunes collection.. including the lyrics, time its played and radio station.. Detective at work + it gives me reason to use my blackberry memopad!
Mexican Institute of Sound- A Girl Like You
The New Young Pony Club- Oh Cherie and The Get Go
Sia- My Love
Angus and Julia Stone- Yellow Brick Road (and anything else from them!!)
Bon Iver- Skinny Love
Broken Bells- The Ghost Inside
Florence + The Machine- Hardest of Hearts
The Cure- Prayers for Rain
Trespassers William- Matching Weight
Notorious B.I.G feat. Frank Sinatra - Everyday Struggle
Ellie Goulding- Guns and Horses
The Lost Boyz- Renee
Rappin 4 tay- Players Club
Ther Herbaliser- Mission Improbable
Greg Laswell- Sing Theresa
The Hood Internet- Dr. Dre
Fujiya & Miyagi - Collarbone
Marek Hemmann- Left
Jin Choi- Close to the heat
So these are a few.. I'm sure there will be plenty more to come!!
Also some photos of the Balloon Festival... Getting up at 4 was totally worth it!!!

Be my rock
Tired is the word to describe this past week! Naps had to be taken to survive and coffee breaks where at their apogee! and ontop of it all... on Saturday I have to get up at around 4ish to drive to Albuquerque for the Balloon Festival... Watch those big colorful balloons rising with the sun.. hopefully nipping on hot coffee while doing so.. Which brings me to the idea.. maybe i'll just take a sleeping bag and set up base over there.. Might not be such a bad idea??
