So I think it's time for me to share with you... some of my favorite songs at the moment and in general..
As you should all I know.. I LOVE music. Couldn't live with out it hence to say my Ipod.. I get most of my music from a ton of research.. Not a big fan of the mainstream radio stuff.. Especially there is nothing more annoying then a radio station repeating the songs they play.. Like seriously? There are SOO many songs.. why play the same song over and over again.. and thereby totally kill it?!?! Just something that escapes my understanding every single time it happens.. Anywho.. so overall I'm a music junkie.. I hear a song I like and i'll write down any information that could help me find out the title and artist so I can add it to my itunes collection.. including the lyrics, time its played and radio station.. Detective at work + it gives me reason to use my blackberry memopad!
Mexican Institute of Sound- A Girl Like You
The New Young Pony Club- Oh Cherie and The Get Go
Sia- My Love
Angus and Julia Stone- Yellow Brick Road (and anything else from them!!)

Be my rock
Tired is the word to describe this past week! Naps had to be taken to survive and coffee breaks where at their apogee! and ontop of it all... on Saturday I have to get up at around 4ish to drive to Albuquerque for the Balloon Festival... Watch those big colorful balloons rising with the sun.. hopefully nipping on hot coffee while doing so.. Which brings me to the idea.. maybe i'll just take a sleeping bag and set up base over there.. Might not be such a bad idea??

What would they say if the honking stopped?
New York: literally the city of wonders and maybe even miracles? 4 days of surprises awaiting me around every corner, every reflection on every sky scraper. The streets are filled with distinct personalities.. everyone has a place, a way.. even if thats everything but the truth. Everything fits, even the little run down house that is hugged by its two neighbouring sky scrapers. The yellow cabs, the limos, the blacks, the whites, the brick, the glass, the tall, the small, red light, green light, chinatown, little italy, fire escape, never ending elevator rides, bright lights, dark alleys, plastic bags, central park. New York has it all and I love you!
I spent most of my time in Soho and East Village. I loved Soho and its small cute streets.. the small cafes and the little boutiques gave me a slight sense of Europe which made me feel right at home. One stylish creature after the other, one new it bag with the matching grunge boot and hat... It all just made me melt in my glowing green boots (i'll be sure to share them with you in the near future). The shopping was great as it was so different then the usual.. and I ended up getting my long craved Alexander Wang Brenda Zipped Bag!!! Yoohoo!! As well as a Tattoo which I had been planning to do for the past 4 years..::Check:: Took way to many pictures as usual which my hard drive most likely is still complaining about..and gin tonics can be crossed of the list for the next month! I miss it already even though the time there definately pushed the exhaust pedal towards the end... but no worries...
New York... I WILL be back!
P.S. Did anyone else who has been, get the feeling that sometimes you'd leave a resteraunt/bar at night and think its already morning when you reach the door because it looks soo bright outside?? Only to get the relief that no.. you haven't pulled an all nighter just yet..its just the big sign above.. PHewuiii

~One Can Hear the Autumn Winds Sing~
Friday.. Weekend!! Yes! Finally!
Wow! Quite a week I had. A bundel of school work.. and let me tell you.. Accounting is a drag!..But sadly an important skill that must be learned! Not that I plan on changing my attire to polyester pencil skirts, white blouses and pearl earrings..HaHa.. Had my first sketching class today.. which left me with a positive surprise.. I actually recognized the object I had sketched!! And the fashion of the Minoan culture has been mastered as well! Now let those beer caps pop, light up those cigarettes and dance because its Labor day weekend!!
P.S. which just so happens to mean +1 extra day of pure sunshine!

Coyotes howl by the moon as the wise one speaks
Hello my little rays of sunshine!
Indian Market has officially begun!! Something i've been looking forward to for quite some time now! It was so inspiring seeing all these unique handcrafted pieces of native american art.. One massive junction of jewelry, paintings, photography, carpets and pottery! Was amazed by the old native american women, they all looked so increadibly wise and chilled out like they were ready to tell you the secrets of the universe by a big bonfire with the moon shining on our fair souls.
I wondered from stand to stand searching for that one special piece that I would not be able to rest without. Having walked in circles by the main plaza I ended up walking down a street, taking a left which lead me to standing under/between what seemed like 100s of chillis. Had I walked straight into Mexico? The flair was a bit different from white tent after white tent and I felt a bit of historic magic. Fortunatly I found that special piece right then and there. Ironically enough it wasn't native american at all.. but love is love, no matter what heritage... riight? A beautiful red stoned ring, entwined by gold... which eventually was paired with a exceptionally shaped, golden bracelet -> Rectangle. Which made me "ooee" even more when compared to the normal circular bracelets. Gotta love contrasts! (Both designed by http://www.bashsf.com ) Mmhh Mhhhmm..

Wish upon a shooting star
Just got back from Sedona, Arizona and the Grand Canyon..wow both beautiful droplets on this planet.. just shows, once again how magnificent nature and its creations are. Learned a lot about the Vortex (magnetic fields of energy) and had a rather spiritual experience.. Even though the "Lavender Dreams Wrap' I had planned at the Hotel Spa didnt quite work out...as planned.. (Almost strangled the wayyy to relaxed Spa Receptionist)! I recently received my Canon RC-6 wireless remote control.. Gotta start taking pictures here!! And so im fiddeling around with that...kid in a candy store.. takings shots of myself.. huii.. had I only known it would be so hard to get a good picture of yourself, posing.. without looking like an absolute wannabe! I guess we'll see how this relationship develops!
